Press Release Author: EmploymentScape
Industry: Human Resources
Press Release Summary: After more than seven years as a legal-based career company, Juriscape has transferred its broader interests to all job seekers, not just attorneys and legal staff, by updating its name to EmploymentScape..
Press Release Body: Pasadena, CA, February 8, 2008 -- Originally launched to cater to the job-seeking needs of attorneys, future attorneys, and legal staff, Juriscape has updated its focus to accommodate the job-seeking needs of all professionals. With the recent development and launch of a series of general job-seeker-friendly companies, like EmploymentCrossing, Hound.com, and ResumeApple, the legal-based company has changed gears, renaming itself EmploymentScape.
"Juriscape shook the legal community when it started BCG Attorney Search, Attorney Resume, and LawCrossing, all now very thriving legal career companies, among others. Years later, we are taking a huge step by extending our services to all types of professionals -- not just attorneys. What we are doing is really quite amazing and exciting for the job seekers of the world," said CEO A. Harrison Barnes.
After successfully launching a series of companies specific to attorney recruiting, resume services, career publications, and mass-mailing services, last February, the company took its first leap outside the legal industry with the launch of LawCrossing's sales-based protégé, SellingCrossing. Since then, the Crossing companies' main hub, EmploymentCrossing, has been launched, along with more than 30 other industry-specific job boards.
This also preceded the development of Hound.com, a free job search engine for all professionals, as well as ResumeApple, a resume- and cover letter-writing company designed to tailor custom submissions for all professionals in all industries.
